T(rip)-Day is Here!

My goodness, I’ve ignored this blog for too long! But it is T(rip)-day and we need to get things rolling!!   I guess all the things I have been doing has totally taken my mind off this little responsibility.  Sorry if anyone was hoping to here more from me and I failed them.  The NC Unemployment people are keeping me busy practically 6-8hrs a day with job prospects and leads. And I have to keep this massive log to document everyone I talk to and what the potential and final outcomes are.  Its a pain, but I made up a Multiple Choice spreadsheet that self completes once I start the inputs. But they call me 2 times a week and email me 4.  And it require responses.  BUT NOW… the enjoyment has run out.  So I am left in poverty with no free money coming in (except of course SS)  I’m thinking of starting and “Only Fans” page.  How do you think I’ll do?

But It is Wednesday and Friday we start the BIG ROAD TRIP.  First we will be going to Washington DC to camp over night for 4 days, then up to the Aliner Rally for a week.  After all that excitement we slowly travel towards Maine, with a nice stop in the finger lakes to see some viewers and my Son and his almost Bride. (The Wedding is in August)  So we will have July and some of August to explore Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont.  As I research places to stay I find Vermont to be fairly unfriendly, but very free thinking.  You’ll know what I mean when I get the video up. I don’t want to say anything I haven’t actually investigated in person.  But no matter what, All three of these states are naturally beautiful and are going to be a fantastic adventure.  And maybe I’ll even see some other YouTubers in the area, maybe even one from New Brunswick who might take a day to leave his cabin to camp with me.  You never know!

Anyway, I’m going to make this short and sweet.  I try like crazy to get at least weekly details on the places we go and things we see.  I’ve always though this should supplement the video with more information and things that don’t get into the video. I’ve done a terrible job at that, but lets see if I can make a “New Years Resolution” to get it done now.  I’ll have a lot less distractions now being on the road for so long.  No grass to hear screaming about the weeds, no cleaning to do, no worries about bills (They will all be prepared). So I am looking forward to freedom from my normal life for the essentially 3 months of summer.

And when we get home, we will do it all over again for September, October, November. Only in the wolf Pup!!  So Stay tuned!  Thanks for coming by!

  1. I’m looking forward to hearing about (and seeing) your trips! Thank you for the update!

    1. Thank you for stopping by Carol. I’m going to try to update more frequently. Hopefully twice a week, but it all depends on connectivity!!

  2. He’s a little strange, and that he’s in the south during the summer, when everybody else is going north. But maybe I can get them to stop by my house in the fall. You never know we’re both just dust in the wind.

  3. Looking forward to all the videos from THE BIG TRIP. Your itinerary sounds great. I really hope you get to camp with “that guy from New Brunswick.” Safe travels – happy trails!
