Good vs Bad
axles, brakes, airlines, fuel lines, fuel tanks and Driver cabs and sleepers. It takes every one of them to do this incredible dance to make it all happen. Some are proud, some are happy, some are miserable and constant complainers. They are all paid well above the going rate, and they have opportunity for additional through overtime or even advancement in the company almost every month.

There are a lot of reasons to go to work in the morning, knowing you are going back tomorrow morning, and there are a lot of reasons to go to work in the morning and file your retirement paperwork. Only you can decide the best time. Just remember I t is the one thing you can’t stop time, time moves forward. The real question is which morning will make you happy. And be happy.
I try to be kind to people all the time, especially when they make my day more enjoyable! I decided a while back when someone with a negative attitude blocks me on the path to happiness – I try to step around them and then I don’t look back. My life is a novel, I can keep rereading the same chapter or I can forge ahead into the unknown – with excitement of what I think will happen or with trepidation that it will not be as good as I anticipated. My decision, forge ahead. Be excited about your choices.
Also, we are all your new friends you have met along the way, you just don’t physically see us. LoL. And always remember, we enjoy the work and expense you put into the channel with your beautiful photos, thoughtful commentary and escapades with Akela and sticks. Have a wonderful week, no matter which morning you choose.
Thanks Linda! Great Comment ! Yes, it is definitely my decision, my choice and my plan. I thought about this for many years and we have the plan in place, and hopefully nothing will screw it up before we dive in. Lots to be scared of, lots to look forward to. It will most likely end up all here on the blog. Thank for stopping by and leaving me the comment !! Stay safe, Stay Healthy.
Rick & Akela!
I really admire your devotion and passion you have towards your channel and this blog with your willingness to share your experiences and your philosophy in life. Just letting you know you are very much appreciated.

I’m not sure how much devotion or I think I would do a lot more. But I was certainly turned off at work from doing any more for them when I wrote this!! I need that winning lottery ticket to blow up against my feet. The final day is on the horizon, just many moons away!
You must be of Irish descent, because knowing from experience, the Irish can never take a compliment 😂😂.
At least 2/3rds Irish
☘️ it’s genetic 😉
Rick- I can totally relate to your experiences in the plant and life in general. We make our own weather, I believe. I worked in manufacturing as well, for 39 years before recently retiring. Five of those years as a supplier to your company in fact (suspension seats). You see and hear all manors of approaches to life. My philosophy is as long as I have enough to live halfway comfortably, I’m good. I just pray that I have my health, and no money in the world can buy that.
Right now, I relish pulling the Aliner from storage with thoughts of new improvements for the coming season. Warmth in the northern US is just about here. Bring on the fun!
Keep up the posts, we enjoy them.

Yes, the summer takes it sweet time up there. On the first warm day grab it and come down here!! I cold use some help on mine!! lol. It’s been perfect temp weather here for the last few weeks, but of course this weekend when I might want to sneak out, its supposed to be in the teens. Oh well, we will be complaining about the heat soon!! Stay safe and healthy, we will cross paths sooner or later!
